This:  ..to bullshit my way out of an Visual Art and TV assignment. It's part of a series of pictures in which quite some harm is being done to a perfectly good 10 Euro TV set. It's crap. But in the academic world, that doesn't matter much. All that counts is the quality of your bullshit story.. |

speaking of which, i'm reading  currently: interpreting graphic scores..and trying to work on all the millions of sounds that there are to be worked on.. i like the broken TV :] and you could certainly use at least 2 of the 3 main 'defences' cited in the above book.. oh, and i went for freud purely for difference :] |

currently hit an impasse as regards artwork (although the Principia Discordia collages continue unabated).
Need to find more inspirations.

I bagged up a big painting to take to the studio tommorow. 4 done, just need a bit of last fine tuning then varnishing.

still facing a complete artistic block Is principa discordia sill going strong? Perhaps a change of subject matter and style if nothing else is happening. I took the 4th big one to the studio and have to do finishing touched to some and then put a protector on them. |

yeah, the Principia Discordia series is still going fine but that's about it. I'm going to try to restart some new work in addition to Principia Discordia in the new year.

I ought to look into them - I hear you can claim a fair bit of cash back (at least in the UK)
Having a resurgence of ideas - got 5 more Principia Discordia collages on the go, plus the first 4 collages for a book-art idea I have that I may have mentioned here a few months ago.

Not that I'm an artist but I have discovered within the last year that I do enjoy photography and I would like to do more with it. I think you should do it - especially since you enjoy it, and you have the digital camera to use (so it won't cost any money for developing etc). Having seen some of your photos I think you have a good eye for composition, and you'll produce some very interesting images. I'd like to do drawings this year. I think I want to get a Rotring ink pen and see what I can come up with. I'd be interested in seeing those - make sure you get them scanned or photographed and emailed over. This year I'm going to produce more artwork than in any year since I left art school. |
