It looks like I may be comming back down to London after all - to do a doctorate!
Maybe I'll start to live again and start to do some writing?
lots of aspirations for the new year; nothing really in my way (touch wood) so I'll try to make it.

just bought a couple of (allegedly) Victorian letterpress blocks from a flea market in Brighton - an angel and an ornate crest/flourish

..coughs "Gothboy!" cough cough. haha! They're not goth at all:  (click thumbnail for bigger pic) Anyway, I've been re-learning lino-printing over the past couple of weeks (the last one I did was far too years ago!). The ultimate aim is to produce a lino-print for the frontispiece (and various other pages) for the Book of the Erinyes. |

Summary of last four weeks: Doesn't sound much, but it took enough time! I think this project is exciting, the images look great. You seem to thrive on learning new things, thats the way I have seen it for the past 18 years. I am excited about quiting studio and working at home, CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! |

Have you completely given up your studio space now? I'm currently getting to grips with lino-cutting again - I did a few many years ago (1987-88) but haven't done any since, so I'm having to relearn all the techniques. |
