Studio moved home, yay!!
Have you completely given up your studio space now? I'm currently getting to grips with lino-cutting again - I did a few many years ago (1987-88) but haven't done any since, so I'm having to relearn all the techniques. Yes nearly, I am almost fully moved in at home. I am aware at some point I will have to make bigger work, but for now I want to make a body of fully realised professional shit hot work, but I need to work at home to gain full consistency of production, it is hard utilising a studio fully when working full time, at home it's easier. I then want work to get into some of the major competitions, then gain some form of gallery representation, this may take years. I find if I get to bogged down in local arts stuff, it goes nowhere. I have found I have become dispirited over local stuff or issues I have been caught up in, in the past and I feel this shows in my work, the text stuff is not where I want to be at. It is not enough for me to just do the local thing. I wish to regain a full pasion for the medium I work in (paint) and regain ambition, which was killed by those studios. I personally wish to remove myself from the local scene in order to progress my work. That may come across as snotty, but I don't care, I need my Mojo back. I have already begun to piece together drawings towards new work, it will be smaller work for the time being.... I want to work in colour again and allow the work to reach outwards into new territory. I also want a continously developing body of work. The linos look good, can we have some better close ups of the work please.

More drawings, biomorphic abstract stuff, I'm happy with that.

Nice work. I am going to have to paint, my drawings are doing what I want, yet the more drawings you do, the more possibilities are opened, I forgot about that gotta keep moving I guess.
