Blind ArtFollowing on from successful exhibitions in London and Nottingham Blind Art presents its first event in Brighton. Bringing together talent local, national and international the focus during the day will be on Art.

The theme being "inclusion" may mean some thing different to everyone and that's what you'll see. Twenty artists will be selling their work, all pieces are original and range in style and medium. There will be Pop Art by Simon Dixon (Brighton) Photography by Charles Ward (Japan), Assemblage & Collage by Paul Watson (Brighton), Painting by Andrew Wright to name but a few. All work will be for sale an available to take away on the day.

The evening event epitomises the aim of Blind Art to bring new talent to the public, we begin the night with 3 Short films directed and written by Simon Ellis. Graduated from Nottingham Trent University (Fine Art BA Hons) in 1995, having specialised in photography. Written and directed fourteen short films since then, resulting in over 200 screenings on the international festival circuit that have led to various awards and a number of terrestrial, non-terrestrial and international broadcasts, from Channel 4 commissions to Airline acquisitions and MTV rotations.

Followed by a brand new film straight from the editing room by Fabio Youniss.

Defiantly one to watch in the future this writer director has so far produced 3 short films and looks set for big things, catch him there on the day.

Music from popular local band Low Frequency Dive promise to electrify your eardrums with their eclectic mix of guitar-based tunes before the Lodge wrap up the evening with some soulful jazz.
