This is the fifth large-scale charcoal drawing in my England’s Dark Dreaming series.

The “Hurrah for the Brexiteers” headline on the copy of the Daily Mail ‘newspaper’ on the table beside the figure should require no explanation for those familiar with the Daily Mail’s infamous past (and present).
