This photograph comes from an early series I took in May 1995. It’s taken with a standard SLR camera on 35mm black and white film, and was developed in a small darkroom (actually a converted cupboard).

Prints of this photograph were used in two assemblages: Box 1 in 1998, where it was deliberately underexposed to produce a very faint image, and an untitled piece from 2002 which forms part of a series of six.
