Image Description
A female-presenting nude figure with short hair shaved at the sides is drawn with rust-coloured sanguine pencil. The shading is light, and the figure fades into just outlines from the legs down.
They are standing almost face-on to us, their right hand resting on a surface behind them (which is not depicted), and their left forearm rests upon this same invisible surface.
Artist’s Notes
The first drawing of any life-drawing session is always a little tentative, especially if I don’t do any short warm-up poses (which I rarely do). This one is no different, but I quite like it anyway.
30 minute pose, graphite and sanguine pencils.
