About 3 weeks ago I posted some rough sketches and notes on this blog for a new project called “The Blindfolded Seeress”.
I’m happy to say that the first stage of the project is complete, and you can see the first five images in my photography gallery.
I’m very pleased…
15 metres of cream muslin, washed, scrunched up, and dried; 1 hand-made oak-leaf mask; 2 replica Viking knives.
Yes, I think I have everything ready for the photographs next weekend……
I'm currently working through some ideas for a new series of artwork based around the mythic figure of the Blindfolded Seeress.
The starting point was Pythia, the Oracle of Delphi, but I've also been researching Veleda (possibly a Latin rendering of Veleta), a Bructerian Seeress mentioned…

I need to get back into life-drawing - there are a few good life-drawing sessions…

Wondering whether I can do one…
Planning one of these for mid-October. Not sure which one. Will need model and/or props.
Series of photographs: A person completely painted white against a white or yellow/brown or black background. Smudged charcoal “tribal” markings - war paint or ritual - half-camouflaging the figure.…
