The Keeper of the Archives, Dream Eaters, and Dryads
The Keeper of the Archives, a Dream Eater, and a Dryad
Being one of a (much overdue) series of updates on my Acid Renaissance series of artwork.
The Keeper of the Archives
In late June I took the photographs for The Keeper of the Archives. I had a great deal of trouble narrowing my choice down to one image from this shortlist of three:
So I ran a poll on Twitter and after 85 votes the middle one was the winner - a 15ʺ × 10ʺ giclée print of The Keeper of the Archives is now available from my online shop.
And a bit of life-drawing as well:

The Dream Eaters
In early July I took the photographs for The Dream Eaters, a series of images that have been going around in my head for a few years now.

Because I envisage the Dream Eaters as a multi-figure image I couldn’t just pick one photograph to make available as a print. So I’ve decided to create a set of A5-sized postcards and made them available on my online shop. There may well be a large multi-figure giclée print at some point in the future as well.
And, as usual, I did a bit of life-drawing as well:

Dryad
On July 11th I took the photographs for Dryad.
Once again I couldn’t initially decide which to make available as a print from the shortlist of three, but eventually went for the third one because I liked the unusual composition - a 15ʺ × 10ʺ giclée print is now available from my online shop.
What’s Next?
I won’t be making quite as much artwork on the rest of July and August because I have various other tasks to catch up with (including exhibiting at the Delaware Road: Ritual and Resistance and building a brand new version of this website). I have also been making contact with a few more male models so I can get some of the male figures done for this series - they should be appearing over September/October/November 2019.
