A Post about Life Models (update)

As I approach my next art project I’ve just reviewed the amounts I pay people who model for my photography or drawing from the rates I discussed in this earlier post.

I’ve decided to increase the amount I pay people who model for my photography from £45 to £50 per hour, just to keep it in line with the rising cost of living.

I’ve kept the amount I pay people who model for drawing to £15 per hour, because that’s already quite a bit more than the national average for life models, and comfortably above both the minimum and living wages. However payment for a 3-hour life-modelling session (the typical length) will be rounded up from £45 to £50.
