VisualArtwork for Schema.org: Progress Report

I initially proposed the new Schema.org type for VisualArtwork back in May 2013, and it’s now very close to being properly adopted.

Dan Brickley announced last week that he had made a test build of VisualArtwork, along with 2 other new types: PublicationVolume and Periodical, and a new workPerformed property for the Event type.

You can see the test VisualArtwork build here. Important note: this is only a test build on the test domain so please don’t use it on a live website.

I look forward soon to being able to report that the VisualArtwork schema proposal has been formally adopted - watch this space (or the schema.org blog)
